Northwood took their unbeaten run of League games to eight after winning against a good side from Camberley. The Woods were made to work extra hard to gain their win, and it wasn't until the last couple of minutes that they achieved it.

The first half was 15 minutes old when Lawrie Walters had a good effort thwarted by the Camberley goalie on the edge of the 18 yard line, and three minutes later Mark Britt was called into action when he tipped a long range drive over. He was busy again when turning away another good effort in the 33rd minute.

The next goalmouth action saw Will Hudson have a good header stopped by a reaction save which brought a corner, from which Lawrie Walters' effort was again cleared off  the line. But on 42 minutes the Woods got their breakthrough when some excellent ball skill on the run from Courtney Francis, a superb cross, flicked on by Carl Hunt to Walters, who drove home. The Woods had hardly got their breath back when an horrendous headed back pass from Elliot Gibbs fell woefully short and Rob Lance nipped in to equalise.

The second half saw both sides put in a determined effort to force a win, and Carl Hunt drew a great save from the keeper midway through the half. Just when most people thought that a draw was going to be the result, the Woods struck. A corner in the 89th minute taken from the right was brilliantly headed home by the skipper Max Moore. To add insult to Camberley, their goalkeeper received a back pass two minutes into injury time, his clearance hit the back of Jerome Cole and the ball ricocheted into the net  to finish the game with a 3-1 victory to Northwood.
